About Me

I'm a New York Road Runners Coach, RRCA certified run coach, community pacer for El Barrio Running, and marathon runner based in New York City.

Born in Mexico and raised in East Harlem, I grew up understanding the value of perseverance, community, and hard work. Those values shape how I coach and why I'm passionate about helping runners discover what they're capable of. What started as a personal challenge has grown into a passion for helping others discover their strength, build confidence, and find community through movement.

Today, I coach runners of all experience levels from first time racers to marathoners and in the process I am creating personalized training plans that fit their goals, schedules, and lifestyles. I'm currently coaching a cohort of more than 10 athletes as they prepare for their first New York City Marathon, and I'm proud to support runners in both English and Spanish.

Alongside coaching, I serve as a community pacer for El Barrio Running, where I help create welcoming spaces for runners to connect, stay consistent, and enjoy the journey together. This fall, I'm also training for two Abbott World Marathon Majors, continuing to challenge myself while leading by example.

I believe running is about more than race times - it's about resilience, belonging, and discovering what's possible. My mission is to make the sport more accessible and inclusive while helping every athlete build confidence, consistency, and joy in the process.

Whether you're preparing for your first 5K, chasing a marathon personal best, or simply looking for a supportive coach and community, I'd love to be part of your journey.
